Lenora Rhein

Lenora Josephine Rhein of Mineral Point, Missouri, departed this life on May 5, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Crystal City, Missouri, having reached the age of eighty-five years, eleven months and six days. She was born at Irondale, Missouri on May 29, 1922, a daughter of the late Emil Stinekraus and Ava Glore Stinekraus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Rhein and a grandson, Sam Clayton Murphy.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her special friend, Arthur Sancegrow of Mineral Point; three sons, Sam Murphy and friend Linda of Long Point, IL, Dennis Murphy and wife (Kwang ?Han?) of Long Point, IL, Kenny Rhein of Long Point, IL; one daughter Wanda Stolzer of Rockford, IL; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 12 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Sam Murphy, Dennis Murphy, Kenny Rhein, Norman Murphy, Michael Murphy, and Bryent Stolzer.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
