Lena Partney

Lena Mary Partney of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 11, 2009 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy three years, two months and twelve days. She was born on January 30, 1936 at Bliss, Missouri, a daughter to the late John Andrew Partney and Mary Ella DeClue.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters Cecelia ?Peg? Sansoucie, Virginia Sue Partney, Susan Virginia Partney; four brothers John ?Bud? Partney, Donald Lee Partney, Charles Partney, twin brother Leanes ?Rabbit? Partney.

Lena was a member of the St. Stephens Catholic Church in Richwoods, Missouri.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her Life Companion Charlie Sansoucie; daughter Regina Petteys and husband Mark of Bonne Terre; sister Wanda Sansoucie and husband Roscoe of Desoto; two sisters in law Ruth Partney of Blackwell, Sylvia Partney of Herculaneum; two grandchildren Mary Ella Petteys and Kelly Renee Petteys; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel with Deacon Ed Boyer officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Larry Sansoucie, Steve Sansoucie, Dennis Wofford, Ernest Chitwood, Dale McDonald and Chris Davidson.

Interment and final prayers were held at St. Stephens Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
