Lee Fairchild

Lee Roy Fairchild of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 19, 2012 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty seven years and twenty seven days. He was born on March 23, 1955 at Wyandotte, Michigan a son to the late Leeroy Fairchild and Virginia (Dobbins) Fairchild.

On April 24, 1993, Lee was united in marriage to Brenda Nettles and they shared nineteen years together.

Some of Lee's favorite pastimes were visiting amusement parks with his family. He would spend time surfing the internet, watching sci-fi movies. He enjoyed talking to the residents at the nursing home and tossing the football outside with his sons.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Brenda Fairchild of Potosi; two sons Ian Fairchild of Potosi, Joshua Fairchild of Potosi; three brothers Jerry Huff of Michigan; Aaron (Bonnie) Fairchild of Kentucky; Mark Fairchild of Kentucky; three sisters Melanie (Mark) Hutchins of St. Peters, Missouri; Carmen (Steve) Williams of Kentucky; Becky Fairchild of Kentucky; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Dean, Bill Wittke, Justin Neal, Kyle Valentine, Mark Hutchins and Chris Ludwig.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
