Lawrence Pashia

April 21, 1940 — October 31, 2010

Lawrence Pashia of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 31, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of seventy years, six months and ten days. He was born on April 21, 1940 at Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late Lewis Pashia and Mary Elizabeth (Beyatte) Pashia.

On August 19, 1959, Lawrence was united in marriage to Faye LaMar and they shared fifty one years together.

Lawrence was a member of the Irondale Assembly of God Church.

The funniest thing that Lawrence talked about from his childhood was sending his twin sister Lorene under the porch to gather the goose eggs. The goose whipped her and he ran off and left her.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by four brothers Lonnie Pashia, Raymond Pashia, Albert Pashia, Donald Pashia; five sisters Alene Farris, Omie Clemmons, Edna Ray, Virginia Pashia and Geraldine Farris.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Faye Pashia of Potosi; five sons Tim Pashia of Potosi, Martin Pashia and wife Scarlotte of Grey Summit, Mark Pashia and wife Karen of Potosi, David Pashia and wife Sherry of Arnold, Lawrence William Pashia of Potosi; daughter Shirley Kean and husband Mark of Potosi; two sisters Lorene Boyster and husband Robert of Potosi, Rachael Stuthers and husband Carl of Festus; eight grandchildren Justin Pashia, Christopher Pashia, David Gore, Dakota Gore, Billy Gore, Daniel Kean, Sarah Bone, Ashley Smith, one great grandchild Aiden Bone, five step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Roy Adams officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Crump, Lawrence Pashia, Donald Kline, Christopher Pashia, Nathan DeClue, Jason Hale and Jeremy Nethington.

Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
