Lawrence "L.L." Boyer
February 14, 1935 — August 4, 2017
Lawrence Leonard “L.L.” Boyer was born on February 14, 1935 in Blackwell, Missouri, a son to the late Wallace Boyer and the late Annastatia Bequette. L.L. entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2017 at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, having reached the age of eighty-two years, five months, and twenty-one days.
L.L. will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his son, Larry Boyer and wife Debbie of Yukon, Oklahoma; two daughters: Kathy Masson and husband Bill of Potosi, and Stephanie Boyer Williams of Cadet; brother, John Boyer of Festus; sister Onieda Boyer of Blackwell; five grandchildren: Courtney Bussing and husband Joseph, Zachary Jarvis, Kyle Boyer, Amy Boyer, and David Masson; and also surviving are beloved great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, L.L. is preceded in death by the mother of his children: Donna (Sullivan) Boyer, and his son, Alvie “Bo” Boyer.
A memorial visitation for L.L. will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 AM.
A memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Potosi Sayers Senior Citizen Center in honor of L.L. Boyer.
DeClue Funeral Home was privileged to care for the services for L.L. during this time of remembrance.
