Lawrence Ray Hedrick, Sr. of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on October 23, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of seventy years, nine months and twenty four days. He was born on December 29, 1940 at Cadet, Missouri a son to the late William Hedrick and Frances (Counts) Hedrick.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by three sisters Gloraine Hedrick, Betty Johnson, Fay Skaggs; five brothers Ivan Hedrick, William Hedrick, Albert Hedrick, Pete Hedrick and Willard Hedrick.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Patricia Hedrick of Cadet; six daughters Judy (Mark) Nauert of Cape Girardeau; Dianna (James) Copeland of Cadet; Carolyn Hedrick of Oklahoma City, OK; Meloney Hedrick of Cadet; Melissa (Craig) Hopkins of Farmington; Cecelia (Eric) Conway of Bismarck; granddaughter that he raised Lorri Hedrick; two sons Lawrence (Diane) Hedrick, Jr. of Farmington; Delbert (Glennette) Hedrick of Potosi; sister Lucy Bourbon of Cadet; sister in law Dorothy Hedrick of Leadwood; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 AM at DeClue Chapel with Rev. Claude Evans officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tom Mercille, James Copeland, Donald Copeland, Michael Copeland, Christopher Jacobs, James Bourbon and Rick DeClue.
Interment and final prayers were held at Upper Indian Creek Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
