Lawrence Kenneth Dicus of Potosi, Missouri, was born on March 31, 1931 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Willie Dicus and the late Helen (Rundel) Dicus. Lawrence passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, having reached the age of ninety-one.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 70 years, Bonnie Dicus; son, Joe Dicus; grandsons: Brandon, Justin, Corey, Brett; sister, Dorothy Pashia (husband, Bob); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by his siblings: Wilma Lou Skaggs and husband Jimmie, Wayne Dicus and wife Jean; and many other dear relatives.
Lawrence enjoyed going to auctions, playing Bingo at Sayers Senior Center, playing the lottery, collecting coins, and playing Rummy with Bonnie each night. He also proudly served in the United States Army.
A time of visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 10:30 am until the time of his service at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Matt Woods, at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. Interment and final prayers will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Potosi, along with Full Military honors, presented by the United States Army and VFW Post 6996.
