Laverna Rulo

LaVerna June (Adams) Rulo, ?Vernie? as she was known to friends and family, departed this life on November 22, 2005 at her residence at Cadet, Missouri, having reached the age of 52 years, 8 months and 18 days. She was born on March 4, 1952 at Mineral Point, Missouri, a daughter of Dorothy Adams and the late Clifford Adams.

Vernie was united in marriage to Ray Rulo on July 22, 1972 and to this union one son was born. She was a member of the Covenant Grace Church of God at Springtown, Missouri. Vernie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, a dear and loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed by all whose life she touched.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Turner, Jr. and a brother Roger Adams.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Ray Rulo; her son, Tony Rulo and his wife Andrea of Cadet; her mother, Dorothy Adams of Mineral Point; brothers, six brothers, Clifford Adams, Jr. and his wife Donna of Mineral Point, Dale Adams and his wife Marsha of Mineral Point, Darrell Adams and his wife Kim of Mineral Point, Gary Adams and his wife Peggy of Mineral Point, Victor Adams of Mineral Point, and Donnie Adams and special friend Allison of Potosi; two sisters, Mary Battreal of Potosi, and Glenda Campbell and her husband Steve of Mineral Point; a grandson, Landon Crocker; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Bobby Thurman and Rev. Steve Campbell officiating.

Interment and final prayers followed at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
