Laura Partney

Laura Ruth Partney of Blackwell, Missouri was born on February 11, 1940, a daughter to the late Sam Brewer and the late Roxie Brewer. On April 25, 1955, Laura was united in marriage to Leanes "Rabbit" Partney and they had one son, Tony Partney. Laura passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson having reached seventy-eight years of age.

Ruth will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her son, Tony (Dana) Partney of Blackwell; brother, Lincoln (Norma) Brewer of Illinois; two grandchildren: Sarah (Scott) Bourbon, and Charlie Partney; two great-grandchildren: Peyton and Madison Bourbon; and extended grandchildren: Tammy Dean, Kyler Dean, Renee Politte, Daniel Politte, Shanay Politte, Amelia Biri, and Jerry Portell.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leanes Partney; siblings: Lucille Gray, Pearl Dunning, Maybell Damron, Buck Brewer, Estelle Brewer, Frank Brewer, and Mary Lou Brewer; adopted daughter: Ann Fulgham; and dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Visitation for Ruth will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, beginning at 10:00 AM, held at DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel.
