Laura Nicholson

November 11, 1914 — January 29, 2012

Laura Bernice Nicholson of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on January 29, 2012 at Potosi Manor Nursing
the age of ninety seven years. She was born on November 11, 1914 at Palmer, Missouri a daughter to the late
Walter Gillam and Lou (Skaggs) Gillam.
On September 9, 1931 Laura was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Nicholson and they shared sixty two years together.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband Charles Nicholson, infant daughter Wilma Ruth Nicholson, son Charles Dean Nicholson, son-in-law Walter Sadler, three brothers Lawrence Gillam, Harry Gillam and Winfred Gillam.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are one daughter Geraldine Sadler of Belgrade, Missouri; grandchildren Jack Sadler and wife Glenda of Farmington, Missouri; Donna Cooper and husband Tim of Belgrade, Missouri; Teresa Corbitt of Georgia; and Chuck Nicholson of Georgia; Great Grandchildren Andrew Sadler, Cory Sadler, Brent Sadler, and Zach Sadler; Four Great-Great Grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February, 1, 2012 at 11AM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
All arrangements were respectfully cared for by the DeClue Family Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
