Larry Richards

Larry Junior Richards of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on September 16, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of sixty six years, two months and eighteen days. He was born on June 29, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Virgil Richards and Goldie (Melton) Richards.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three grandchildren Amber Barton, Ashley Barton, Austin Barton and a sister Barbara Wideman.

Larry served in the United States Army from 1966 – 1968.

Larry was united in marriage to Charlene Nye on December 24, 1966 and they shared forty six years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Charlene Richards of Potosi; two daughters Kimberly Woodruff and husband Kevin of Fredericktown, Bobbie West and husband Chris of Caledonia; two sons Virgil Richards of Potosi, Randell Richards and wife Jennifer of Clarksville, Tennessee; two brothers Gary Richards and wife Jan of Farmington, Terry Richards of Mineral Point; two sisters Ava Boyer and husband Mike of Old Mines, Kathy Blair and husband Mike of Potosi; grandchildren Jacob, Jordon, Jesi, Kendall, Skyeler, Rainna Richards, Carletta West; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Mike Jarvis officiating.
