Larry Estle Rawlins of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on October 23, 2014 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of sixty six years, nine months, and six days. He was born on January 17, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Estle James and Hilda (Stewert) Rawlins.
On February 4, 1977, Larry was united in marriage to Diana (Stringer) Rawlins. Together they shared 37 years of marriage.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Diana Rawlins of Mineral Point, Missouri; three sons: Rodney Rawlins and wife Stephanie of Mineral Point, Missouri, Chris Rawlins and wife Morgan of Caledonia, Missouri, and Jeremy Rawlins and wife Natalie of Belgrade, Missouri; three daughters: Carolyn Michele Wiedemann and husband Steve of St. Louis, Missouri, Christina Rawlins of St. Louis, Missouri, and Renee Cantrell and husband Chuck of Mineral Point, Missouri; sister Edith Howe of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; fourteen grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister Twila Britton; two brothers: Gary Rawlins and Jimmy Rawlins; and his mother-in-law Beatrice Stringer.
Funeral services for Larry were held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chuck Cantrell officiating.
Honoring Larry by serving as his pallbearers were Tim Cantrell, Logan Rawlins, Blake Rawlins, Dennis Stringer, Tim Brewer, and Eric Dunn.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset-Hills Cemetery. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
