Larry Mayfield

Larry Edmond Mayfield of Bonne Terre, Missouri departed this life on February 14, 2011 at the St. Anthony Medical Center having reached the age of sixty four years, six months and five days. He was born on August 9, 1946 at Cadet, Missouri a son to the late Amos Mayfield and Alice (King) Mayfield.
On July 1969, Larry was united in marriage to Cleda Politte and they shared forty one years together.
Larry was a member of the House of Praise Church in Desloge.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are son Larry Mayfield, Jr. of Bonne Terre; five sisters Lucille Thurston and husband John of Caledonia; Gerry King of Farmington; Peggy Nicholson of Cadet; Judy Litterell of Park Hills; Jane Owens of Park Hills; brother Robert Mayfield and wife Carolyn of St. Louis; one grandchild J.J. Mayfield; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 3 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rick Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Richard Wild, Dylan Eckhoff, Scot Eckhoff, Mike Eckhoff, Greg Riddle and Larry Mayfield, Jr.
Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
