Larry Laws

Larry Monroe Laws of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Larry was born on September 12, 1939, a son to the late Marvin Laws and the late Rosie (Lawson) Laws.

Larry was united in marriage to Sharon E. Schneider and they shared a wonderful life together. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, reading, and hanging out with the "Hill gang." Larry loved playing cards, fish fries, and sharing stories with one another. He also had a talent for woodworking and was proud to have made Sharon an amazing China cabinet. While Larry may have had many interests and hobbies throughout the years, nothing compared to the joy he received while being in the presence of his family. Above all, Larry was a family man who loved spending time with all of his grandbabies. Husband, dad and grandpa were titles he wore proudly.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Laws; three children: Delicia Crannell (husband, Tim), Chad Conlin and Ladonna Bales; grandchildren: Tiffany, Jacob, Sarah, Christie, Dixie, Chandler, Coty, Ashton, Martia, Josette, Jordan, Peighton, Atticus and Phoebe; a host of great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Belinda "Lea" Hamilton; and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by three children: Ronald Laws, Keith Laws and Brittnay Laws; and siblings: Leonard Laws, John Laws, Bernice Knight and Norma Jean Politte.
