L. Wayne Blair

Lawrence “Wayne” Blair of Potosi, Missouri, was born on July 24, 1949 in Potosi, a son of the late Lawrence “Bud” and Mary (Brewer) Blair. Wayne went to his Heavenly Home on Sunday, December 26, 2021 having reached the age of 72 years, 5 months and 2 days.

On November 8, 1974 Wayne was united in marriage to Glenda Coleman and they shared 47 years of memories together.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Glenda Blair; four children: Kimberly Ann Blair, Angela Dawn Brown (husband, Ada), Jeffrey Wayne Blair (wife, Melissa), and Ona Johnston (husband, Steven); seven grandchildren: Tyler, Alexandria, Noah and (Fiancé, Aliyah), Konnor, Emma, Chase, and Rylee; great-great granddaughter, Maddison; brother, Rick Blair (wife, Sherri); sister, Tami Portell (husband, Larry); and brother-in-law, Mike Eye (wife, Sherrie). Wayne also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to his father and mother, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Eye; and niece, Sarah (Blair) Light.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E. High Street, Potosi, Missouri, 63664. Visitation will resume on Friday, December 31st from 9 to 11 AM.

A Funeral Service will be conducted Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11 AM held at the DeClue Chapel. Interment will follow at White Oak Grove Cemetery.
