Kenneth Doyle

Rev. Kenneth Eugene Doyle of Bonne Terre, Missouri departed this life on October 27, 2012 at his residence having reached the age of seventy eight years, one month and sixteen days. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Sullivan, Missouri a son to the late James Doyle and Mildred (Wright) Doyle.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a grandson Curtis James Doyle, Two brothers James Doyle, Jr., Carl Doyle, two sisters Geraldine Williams and Virginia Whitaker.

On September 17, 1955, Kenneth was united in marriage to Linda Hilleman and they shared fifty seven years together.

Kenneth was a member of the Belleview Assembly of God Church and resided over six different churches in the southern Missouri district; guest spoke at countless revivals and entered into fatherhood three times. However, his greatest sense of joy and comfort came from his compassionate and charismatic work with the younger members of his family and congregations. He believed that helping to shape the hearts, minds and characters of these children was the most useful and rewarding purpose, he could have ever had.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his are wife Linda Doyle of Bonne Terre; two sons Kenneth Doyle of Texas; James (Mellissa) Doyle of Lesterville; daughter Melody (Tim) Webster of Bonne Terre; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jared Gilliam officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
