Kenneth Davis

Kenneth Leeman Davis of Park Hills, Missouri departed this life on October 14, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of sixty years, eleven months and two days. He was born on November 12, 1949 at Bruno, Missouri a son to the late Leeman Davis and Alice (Eldridge) Davis.
On June 5, 1971, Kenny was united in marriage to Clara Beth Lawson and they shared thirty nine years together.
Kenny met the Lord, December 16, 1979 at Desoto Full Gospel Church. He drove his van for years hauling children to church. He also taught Sunday School Class and was very dedicated in Nursing Home Ministries.
Kenny was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and especially coon hunting. He spent his life time in the timber business from sawmill to logging. He was employed at Harbison Sawmill for twelve years.
Kenny was a patient, unselfish family man who will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by five brothers Arther Davis, John Davis, Leslie Davis, Vernon Davis, Bobby Davis; two sisters Imagene Davis, Christine Robertson and good friend Carl King.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Clara Beth Davis of Park Hills; step mom Doris Davis of Sullivan; mother in law Estella Lawson of Park Hills; three sons Leeman Davis and wife Jennifer of Potosi; Kenneth Davis and wife Joanna of Kentucky; Timothy Davis of Park Hills; four brothers Bill Davis and wife Pat of Bourbon, Donnie Davis and wife Barb of Potosi, Lee Davis and wife Viola of Wright City, Matt Davis and wife Michelle of Sullivan; three sisters Debbie Arnold and husband Dewane of Arkansas, Norma Rulo and husband Jim of Potosi, Evie Davis of Arkansas; special friend Spinner DeClue; eight grandchildren Megan, Justin, Weston, Ethan, Kayanna, Jesley, Aidan, Payton; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Aarow Burnett officiating and Rev. David Bridgeman assisting. Serving all pallbearers were Spinner DeClue, Darrel Portell, Matt Yarbrough, Donnie Barton, Jr., Justin Davis and Weston Davis.
Interment and final prayers were held at Adams Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
