Kay Gillam

Kay Louise Gillam of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 12, 2012 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy four years, nine months and seven days. She was born on August 5, 1937 at St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to the late Sylvester Vandorn and Katherine (Cartie) Vandorn.

On April 14, 1985, Kay was united in marriage to Lavern "Vern" Gillam and they shared twenty seven years together.

Prior to Kays passing, she received the Sacrament of the Sick, from Father Joe Welschmeyer on Friday, May 11th.

In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by a sister Carol Vandorn.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Levern "Vern" Gillam of Potosi; son Robert Daniels of St. Louis; daughter Kay Daniels of Potosi; grandson Scott Gillam and wife Tabitha of Potosi; three great grandchildren David Gillam, Joseph Gillam, Destiny Gillam; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
