Kathryn Evans

Kathryn M. "Kathy" Evans of Potosi, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was born on April 2, 1953 at St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to Shelba Jean Peak Pierce and the late J.C. Pierce.
On April 3, 1970, Kathy was united in marriage to David Evans at Bates Creek Baptist Church and they shared forty four years together.
Those who remain to mourn her passing include her husband David Evans of Potosi, Missouri; Daughter Christina Jarvis and husband Mac Jr. of Potosi, Missouri; son Petey Evans and fiancé Andrea Sopher of Potosi, Missouri; mother Shelba Jean Pierce of Tennessee; brother Randy Pierce and wife Pat of Tennessee; six sisters Donna Clark and fiancé Rodney Blackburn of Tennessee; Karen Pierce of Tennessee; Vickie Alhamoud and husband Ali of Tennessee; Sherry Young and Leon Lyle of Tennessee; Debbie Boyer of Tennessee; Nancy Coleman and husband Randy of Old Mines, Missouri; three grandchildren Josh Jarvis; Gemma Evans and Kaiden Hetsley; sister-in-law Sheri Lynn Pierce and a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by one brother J.C. Pierce Jr.
Funeral services for Kathy were conducted on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bryan Buckley officiating assisted by Bro. Claude Evans and Bro. Charles Evans. Honoring Kathy by serving as pallbearers were Scott Courtois, B.J. DeClue, Tim Evans, Dillian DeClue, Denny Dalton, Claude Evans, Billy Cain and Kermit Turner. Serving as Honorary pallbearers were Petey Evans, Mac Jarvis Jr., Josh Jarvis, Kaiden Hetsley, Jackson Buckley and Blake Buckley.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Bates Creek Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were respectfully cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
