Kathleen Jones

Kathleen Jones of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on July 24, 1929 in Cadet, Missouri a daughter of the late Morris Bourbon and the late Harriett (Courtway) Bourbon. Kathleen passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 having reached the age of eighty-nine.

In addition to her father and mother, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Loy Jones; daughter, Barbara Wideman; great-great granddaughter, Addie Wideman; siblings: Harry, Floyd, Dudley, and Austin Bourbon; and two sisters: Gertrude Bourbon Dean and Anna Bell Nickelson.

Survivors include her three grandchildren: Keith (Crystal) Wideman, Kim (Mike) Smith, and Kurt (Lisa) Wideman; seven great grandchildren: Lacy, Billy, Heather, Kevin, Chelcie, Dusty, and Chance; Fourteen great-great grandchildren: Lilly, Peyton, Allie, Lexi, Austin, Braylie, Braycie, Brayzlie, Alex, Presley, Harper, Colin, Blake, and Bella; one sister, Wilma Aubuchon; also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with her grandson, Kevin Smith officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at New Diggins Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
