Katherine Foster

Katherine Marie Foster of Potosi, Missouri departed this life June 18, 2009 at the SouthCrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of eighty eight years, eight months and fourteen days. She was born on October 4, 1920 at Farmington, Missouri a daughter to the late Lemuel Wilson and Georgia Russell Wilson.

Katherine was a member of the Potosi Methodist Church. She was retired from Division of Family Services where she worked for over twenty years.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband Everett Foster; two sisters Marge McMahan, Virginia Wilson and a niece Marsha Wilson.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are a son Rick Foster and wife Karen of Tulsa; a daughter Debbie Foster of Tulsa, two brothers Lemuel Wilson and wife Brenda of Potosi; Jerry Wilson and wife Yaeko of St. Charles; sister Madeline Banta of St. Charles; two grandchildren Chris Foster of Dallas; Breann Foster of Tulsa; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mark Wilson, Scott Wilson, Chris Foster, Michael Wilson, Keith Banta and Wayne Wilson.

Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
