Karleen Osia

Karleen Patricia Osia of Potosi, Missouri passed away on September 9, 2015 at her residence having reached the age of sixty four years, five months, and seventeen days. She was born on March 23, 1951 in Clayton, Missouri a daughter to Elizabeth Marie (Degonia) and the late Carl Joseph Osia.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her son Karl F. Gokenbach of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Sarah M. Trokey and husband Clint of Potosi, Missouri; mother Betty Osia of Old Mines, Missouri; eight siblings: William "Bill" Osia and wife Barb of Old Mines, Missouri, Beverly Osia of Kirkwood, Missouri, Dr. Kenneth Osia of St. Louis, Missouri, Mary Osia of Old Mines, Missouri, Mark Osia and wife Pat of St. Louis, Missouri, Mike Osia of Arnold, Missouri, Madonna Osia of Old Mines, Missouri, and Shelley Coffman and husband Ron of Ballwin, Missouri; the father of her children Roy Gokenbach and wife Barb of St. Louis, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

In addition to her father, Karleen is preceded in death by her brother Robert Domonic Osia.

Visitation for Karleen was held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM and will again on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM. A funeral procession lead out from DeClue Funeral Home at 9:30 AM to the St. James Catholic Church where a funeral mass was held at 10:00 AM officiated by Father Roger Fleming.

Honoring Karleen by serving as her pallbearers were Bill Osia, Kenny Osia, Mark Osia, Mike Osia, Robbie Welch, and Clint Trokey.

Interment and final prayers were held at the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
