Karl Frenzel

July 13, 1935 — December 30, 2022

Karl Albert Frenzel of Cadet, Missouri, was born on July 13, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son to the late Karl August Frenzel and the late Gertrude Marie (Oswald) Frenzel. Karl passed away peacefully on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 87. In addition to Karl’s father and mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Fikar; one grandson and one great grandbaby.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Nancy Frenzel; five children: Ruthann Hults (husband, Dave), Robert Fikar, Randy Fikar, Richard Fikar (wife, Karen), Robyn Pease (husband, Terry); ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; two siblings: Ken "Butch" Frenzel (wife, Bernice) and Kate Wehmueller (Husband, Wayne). Karl is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Karl served in the United States Marine Corps. from January 20, 1955 to January 19, 1959. Karl will receive full military honors for his service presented by the United States Marine Corps. and VFW Post 6996.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the time of funeral service at 11 AM held at DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Doug Parks officiating. Interment will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St Louis, MO 63125. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
