June Martin

Anita June Martin of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on March 1, 2012 at the Farmington Presbyterian Manor having reached the age of eighty seven years, seven months and fifteen days. She was born on July 14, 1924 at Ironton, Missouri a daughter to the late Joseph Ono Walton and Ora Lou (Maxwell) Walton.

June worked for Brown Shoe Company for forty two years and Belgrade State Bank for twenty years.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband Bill Martin; daughter Billie Jo Jinkerson; an infant brother; son in law Ancel Jinkerson; sister Marie Palmer and a brother John Joseph Walton.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her grandson Michael (Cathy) Jinkerson of Washington, Missouri; great grandchildren Abbey Jinkerson, Ben Jinkerson; June loved all her nieces and nephews but had a special niece Linda Nickelson and great niece Tyla (Shane) Blair of Potosi; great great nieces Madison Turntine, Macie Turntine, Myla Blair; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton and Rev. Brenda West officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Ben Jinkerson, Terry Walton, John Walton, Tim Walton, Rick Jenkins and Rob Jenkins.

Interment and final prayers were held at Belgrade Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
