Judy Shepard

Judy Caroline Shepard of Cadet, Missouri departed this life September 4, 2008 at her residence, having reached the age of 63 years 5 months and 3 days. She was born on April 1, 1945 at Cadet, Missouri, a daughter of the late Milford Rulo and Virginia Courtway Rulo.

She was united in marriage on February 2, 1963 to Cleo Shepard and they shared 45 years together.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Nancy Shepard; father-in-law Henry Shepard; 3 sisters-in-law Vernie Rulo, Mildred Fitzwater, Alcie Boyer; 4 brothers-in-law Taylor Shepard, Kenneth Shepard, Richard Shepard, Elvis Shepard; nephew Devon Wills; niece Chrissy Dawn Wills.

She was a longtime member of the Covenant Grace Church of God and she dearly loved her church and family.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband Cleo Shepard; step-daughter Mary Jean Mosier and husband John of Desloge; brothers Danny Rulo and wife JoAnn of Potosi, Ray Rulo of Cadet; sisters Diane Bequette and husband Jim of Potosi, Marilyn Price and husband Roger of Potosi; 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the Britton Chapel, with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Danny Rulo, Jr., Randy Vance, Jr., Mickey Rulo, Tony Rulo, Blake Rulo, Dennis Rulo and Buddy Wills, Honorary Pallbearer Allen Shepard.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
