Judy Eye was born on July 20, 1944 in Leadwood, Missouri, beloved daughter to the late Hubert and Mary (Johnson) Coble. Judy went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021 having reached the age of 77 years, 3 months and 30 days.
On August 31, 1963, Judy was united in marriage to Gervis Eye in Leadwood and they shared 58 years together.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Gervis Eye; two daughters: Faith Jackson (husband, JJ), Hope Allen (husband, Dale); seven grandchildren: Bailey Jackson, Luke Allen, Noah Jackson, Zachary Allen, Emma Allen, Brody Jackson, Seth Allen; four siblings: Carol (Lonnie) Hill, Clifford (Patricia) Coble, Everett (Kaffee) Coble, Steve (Mary) Coble; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Clarice Allen, Paul Eye, Billy and Mary Ann Eye, Judy and Harry Carolyon, Janet Franklin, Sharon and Royce Fritz, Mary Ellen and Dean Lounsbery, Buddy and Dana Eye, and Bob Welch. Judy also leaves behind special nieces, nephews, church family, many “honorary children and grandchildren”; a Spanish "daughter", Graciela Da La Morena (husband, Javier Medrano) with whom she had a special bond with, and their children, Katia, Martina, and Pablo.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by four siblings: Louise Harsy, Gladys Wilson, Virginia "Ginny" Welch and Maxine Williams; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Lilburn & Bessie Eye; and many brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, and other dear relatives.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 24, from 9 to 10 AM at First Baptist Church, Potosi.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10 AM held at First Baptist Church. Pastor Jim Ainley will officiate, assisted by Pastor Kevin Smith. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens.
