Judith Vance

Judith Irene Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on May 12, 2015 at her residence having reached the age of seventy five years, seven months, and eighteen days. She was born on September 24, 1939 a daughter to the late Lawton and Clara (Sundbeck) Dalzell. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her four sons: Jeffery Vance and wife Judy of Potosi, Missouri, Michael Vance and wife Peggy of Potosi, Missouri, David Vance and wife Shannon of Mineral Point, and Jonathan Vance and wife Crystal of Mineral Point, Missouri; four daughters: Dawn Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri, Toni Vincent and husband Kelvin of Mineral Point, Missouri, Julie Vance Graves of Potosi, Missouri, and Jeanette Vance of Mineral Point, Missouri; five brothers: James Dalzell of California, David Dalzell of Ludington, Michigan, Delbert Dalzell of Arizona, Danny Dalzell of Lake Ann, Michigan, and Robert Dalzell of Traverse City, Michigan; three sisters: Ruth Wiberg and husband Arland of St. George, Utah, Jeanne Olman and husband Richard of Traverse City, Michigan, and Nancy Vantorn of Oskaloosa, Iowa; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers and sisters-in law: Le and Don Hill, Marcella Worley, Phyllis Vance, Arnold and Jeanette Vance, and Wilma Frances Vance; three special nieces and nephews: Chuck Vance, Angie Vance, and Kevin Vance; and many other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Judith is preceded in death by her beloved husband Derwood Vance; son Brian Vance; two brothers: Doug Dalzell and Greg Dalzell; and sister Joyce Dalzell. Funeral services for Judith were held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
