Juanita Marian Wright of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 23, 2010 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached the age of ninety years, one month and eighteen days. She was born on July 5, 1920 at Frankclay, Missouri a daughter to the late Perry Algiere and Martha (Kay) Algiere.
Marian was a member of the 1st Potosi Southern Baptist Church where she remained active until her death and she loved the St. Louis Cardinals. Marian retired from the Postal Service as Postmaster at Bunker, Missouri in 1989.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Wright; three brothers Ernest Algiere, Roy Algiere, Fred Algiere and one infant daughter Peggy Ann.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are two daughters Catherine Cunningham and husband David of Maryland Heights; Margie Bradley and husband Jerry of Bowling Green, KY; son Ralph “Nick” Wright and wife Marilyn of O’Fallon; six grandchildren John Cunningham and wife Linda of Fenton; Thom Cunningham of St. Louis; Beth Cunningham of Troy; Scott Bradley and wife Marena of Knoxville, TN; Matthew Wright and wife Anna of Bowling Green, KY; Andrew Wright and wife Kaleana of Foley, MO; eight great grandchildren Jessica and Amanda Cunningham; Hannah and Scott Jr. Bradley; Emily and Levi Wright; James and Lincoln Wright; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue chapel with Rev. Wayne Isgriggs officiating. Serving as pallbearers were her six grandchildren, John Cunningham, Thom Cunningham, Beth Cunningham, Scott Bradley, Matthew Wright and Andrew Wright.
Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
