Joyce Coleman

January 8, 1947 — July 17, 2018

Joyce Ann Coleman of Irondale, Missouri was born on January 8, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late Howard Yarbrough and the late Oma Lee Wilson. She was united in marriage on May 2, 1963 to Ivan Coleman, Sr. and they shared fifty years together.

Joyce passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Mercy Jefferson having reached seventy-one years of age. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ivan Coleman, Sr.; two sons: Lee Coleman, Sr. and Ivan Coleman, Jr.; daughter, Alice Mae Coleman; and two sisters: Rosemary Mayberry and Nadine Kircher.

Survivors include two daughters: Theresa (Tim) Cantrell and Melissa "Missy" (Tim) Holder; brother, Howard (Evelyn) Yarbrough; brother-in-law, Everett Mayberry; grandchildren: Jason, Gina, Ivan III, Lee Jr., Michael, Stephen, Chrissy, Timmy, Brandon, Cody, Jessica, and Jack; and fourteen great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Geannie Eilers: daughter-in-law, Mary (Bud) Bradley.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and will resume on Saturday, July 21, 2018, beginning at 9:00 AM at DeClue Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Gary Cooper officiating. Interment and final prayers will be shared at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri following the service at 4:00 PM.
