Joyce Ann Carl of Potosi, Missouri passed away on November 29, 2014 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of seventy one years, four months, and eight days. She was born on July 21, 1943 a daughter to the late Virgil Lowery and Minnie (Chilton) Lowery.
On October 19, 1965, Joyce was united in marriage to the late Kenneth Leon Carl and they had two children born to this union.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her two sons: Michael Sean Carl of Phoenix, Arizona and Christopher Kendell Carl and wife Mary Pat of St. Louis, Missouri; her sister Janet Kemp and husband Orla of Farmington, Missouri; and five grandchildren: Dylan Carl, Molly Carl, Margaret Carl, John Carl, and Patrick Carl; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter Lydia Carl Cash and sister Carolyn Helton.
Funeral services for Joyce were held on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Gresham Cemetery in Carter County, Missouri. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
