Joseph Arnold

Joseph Arnold of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on March 3, 2008 at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, having reached the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and twenty-one days. He was born on July 10, 1938 at Richwoods, Missouri a son of the late William Arnold and Rena Jackson Arnold.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers William Arnold and Fred Arnold..

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his life time partner, Carol Powell of Cadet; his children, Wynona Bryant of Steeelville, Joseph Arnold of Cherryville, Glen Arnold of St. Louis, Juanita Bailey, Joseph Bailey of Jacksonville, FL; step children, Jennifer Thurmond and husband, Derek of Blackwell, Marie Cantrell and husband David of Cadet, Micheal Sohn and wife Theoria of Atlantic Beach, FL; a brother, Benny Arnold and wife, Judy of Cadet; a sister, Marie Headock of Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Bobby Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Josh Caudill, Mike Sohn, Namon Dobbs, Danny Missey and Jason Eckhoff.

Interment and final prayers were held at Horine Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
