Jonathon "Jp" Yarbrough

Jonathan Paul Yarbrough of Cadet was born on November 24, 1998 in Farmington, MO, a son to Dennis and Kathy “Jo-D” (Cain) Yarbrough. “JP” as known by his family and friends, passed away on July 13, 2024 having reached the age of 25 years, 7 months, and 25 days.

Many would say that JP was “a jack of all trades.” He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He found joy in being a jokester, he loved to make people laugh, especially those who were down.

JP is survived by his parents, Dennis and Jo-D Yarbrough; longtime companion, Kayla Roberts; step children, Colton, Hunter, and Brexton; siblings, Jossie Eckoff (Paul Janis), Brittany Gallagher, Eric Cain, Thomas Yarbrough, and Meleya Pratt; and maternal grandparents, Joe and Theresa Cain. JP is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, dear friends, and extended family.

JP is preceded in death by his sister, Mariah Gallagher; paternal grandparents, Fred and Joan Yarbrough; and uncle, Duck Yarbrough.

As I sit here today crying rivers of tears, losing you I never I never thought in all of my years, son I am so sad, broken, and weak, and your voice, touch,and love I will always seek... I never thought that I would lose you, I never thought that I couldn't protect you, I never thought I would hurt so much for you, well that goes to show how much that I really knew, you will forever be missed, never forgotten, or unknown and my love for you son everyday will forever continue to grow.....love forever momma....Kathy Yarbrough aka Jo-d 07/22/24
