John Valley

John Lee Valley of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on October 30, 2012 at the Georgian Garden Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty one years, one month and sixteen days. He was born on September 14, 1951 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late Fred Valley and Edna (Quillman) Valley.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by three brothers Carl Valley, Mackie Valley, Georgie Valley; three sisters Viola Callahan, Charlotte Henry and Lena Womble.

On June 18, 1971, John was united in marriage to Bonnie Vance and they shared forty one years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Bonnie Valley of Mineral Point; daughter Kathy Barnes and special friend Chris Brewster of Mineral Point; sister Mary Ann Emily and husband Herbert of Mineral Point; three grandchildren Dasha Barnes, Tori Brewster, William Brewster; sister in law Lillie Rose Valley; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Dale Stringer officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
