John Lynn Turntine of Irondale, Missouri, departed this life on September 3, 2006 at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri. He was born on December 15, 1981 at Farmington, Missouri, a son of Linda Schrum Turntine and John Lee Turntine and an identical twin to Jason Turntine. John reached the age of 24 years, 8 months and 19 days.
John was a loving son, fiance?, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved to hunt and fish and you could catch him watching wrestling in his spare time. He will be truly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Dorothy Turntine.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his finance? Ashley Wills of Irondale; his mother, Linda (Schrum) Turntine and father, John Turntine of Irondale; his children, Parker, Garrett David, Michael and LuLu; two sisters, Shelly Rodgers and husband Malcolm of Irondale, Amy Kay and fiance? Sean Johnson of Stoney Point; his twin brother, Jason Turntine and fiance? Amber Fick of Irondale; his maternal grandparents, Scottie and Ina June Schrum of Irondale; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Amanda, Toby, Maggie, Loren and Alley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel of Potosi, with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tyler Walton, Richard Alvers, Tyson Walton, Caleb Lands, Justin Lands and Malcolm Rodgers; honorary pallbearer was Taylor Rodgers.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Schrum Cemetery, Irondale, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
