John Pitts, Jr.

John Wesley Pitts, Jr. of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on November 2, 1953, a son to the late John Pitts, Sr. and the late Laverne (Cook) Pitts. John entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 having reached sixty-six years of age.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Pitts; daughter, Sara Pitts; two siblings: Donna (Robert) Aud and Phillip (Cindy) Pitts; the mother of his children, Shirley Pitts; dear nieces and nephews; puppies: Saydee and Moby; and grandpuppies: Molly, Baxter, Chief, Mattie, Charlie and Jasper.

John is preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Laverne Pitts.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment and final prayers will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Potosi.
