John A. Mowry of Farmington, Missouri departed this life on April 18, 2013 at the Parkland Hospital having reached the age of sixty eight years, one month and thirty days. He was born on February 19, 1945 in Cripple Creek, Colorado a son to the late John Mowry and Minnie (Kellstrom) Mowry.
John served in the United States Army from 1965-1967.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are two sons James Mowry and wife Christie of Dittmer, Missouri, John Mowry Jr. and wife Violet of El Paso, Texas; daughter Victoria Mennillo of House Springs; sister Margie Stroupe of Farmington; six grandchildren Autumn Nicole Mowry, Erica Summer Mowry, Nicholas Joseph Mennillo, Nathan Lewis Mennillo, Ian Victor Jemiola, Eli Payton Jemiola; other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 3 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mark Stroupe, Rob Stauf, Scott Stroupe.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Lakewood Missionary Baptist Cemetery with full military honors presented by the United States Army and Local VFW Post #6996. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
