John Henry Motes, also known as "Doc" to family and friends, of Des Arc, Missouri, was born on April 19, 1956, in Venice, IL, a son to the late John Dennis Motes and the late Shirley Rose (Sortor) James. Doc passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, having reached the age of sixty-six years, four months, and six days.
Those who remain to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty years, Joanna Motes; and daughter, Katie Jane Motes.
In addition to his parents, Doc was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Josephine Sortor.
No services will be held.
