John Boyer

John Calvan Boyer of Potosi, Missouri departed this life September 29, 2010 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty four years, five months and fourteen days. He was born on April 15, 1946 at Potosi, Missouri a son to the late Thomas Boyer and Gladys (Trokey) Boyer.

John loved doing farm work but most of all he loved God.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are a son Durand Barton and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sister Virgie Sansoucie of Potosi; brother William (Bill) Boyer and wife Rosie of Cadet; nephew Dennis Sansoucie and wife Renaye of Cadet; niece Donna Hazen and husband Chris of St. Louis; two grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, October 4, 2010 at 2 PM at DeClue Chapel with Rev. Jim Cartee officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Sansoucie, Ronald Sitzes, Durand Barton, Tory Pickett, Jeff Williams and Clinton Williams.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
