John A. Wilkson

John Aubrey Wilkson, known to most as "Little John" was born on October 11, 1939 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a son to the late Harry P. Wilkson and the late Lula Mae (Coffman) Wilkson. On June 21, 1980, John was united in marriage to Linda Fowler and they shared thirty-eight years together. John went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 having reached seventy-nine years of age.

John is survived by his his loving and devoted wife, Linda Wilkson; son, James Robert (wife, Naomi) Wilkson; two grandchildren: Jonathan Robert Wilkson and Jaquelyn Renee Wilkson; brother, Larry Gene Wilkson; mother-in-law: Avis Wells; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gale and Beverly Wells, Jenny and Rick Sadler, Janie and Ron Greenwalt and Charlie Harp.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents: Monte and Jetty Coffman; father, Harry Perry Wilkson; mother, Lula Mae Kendrick; step father, Rankin Kendrick; two sisters: Shirley Floyd and Jetta Kendrick; two fathers-in-law: William "Bill" Wells and Herbert Fowler; two sisters-in-law: Sandra Harp and Mary Wilkson; and brother-in-law, Donald Floyd.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation resumed Saturday, March 9, 2019 beginning at 12:00 p.m.

A funeral service to honor John began at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. James Hoffman officiating. Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
