Jimmy Smith

Jimmy Dean Smith of Richwoods, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached the age of fifty seven years, four months, and one day. He was born on October 18, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son to the late Verna Doss.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife Donna Smith of Richwoods; three sons: James Huskey, David Smith,
and Terry Smith and wife Felishia – all of Richwoods; two brothers: Bobby Smith and wife Betty of East Prairie, and Earl Smith of De Soto; sister Brenda Smith; nine grandchildren: Kaleb Huskey, Tiana Huskey, Josie Huskey, Destin Smith, Liam Smith, Landon Smith, Ciara Huskey, Alexis Huskey, and Kailee Arnold; and also many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his grandparents; step-son: Robert D. Huskey; brother-in-law Robert William Huskey, father-in-law Charles William Huskey; mother-in-law Alma Huskey; and special aunt Eula Dean.

Friends may call on the family Sunday evening, February 21, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, February 22, 2016, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service for Jim will be conducted Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 am held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Melvin Brown officiating, assisted by Bro. Frankie DeClue and Bro. Perry Vance.

Interment will be held at the Bonne Terre Cemetery.
