Jimmy Leisure

Jimmy Dale Leisure of Arnold, Missouri departed this life on May 14, 2014 at St. Anthony's Medical Center having reached the age of sixty five years, eight months and sixteen days. He was born on August 28, 1948 in Dunklin County, Missouri a son to Zencie (Barnes) Leisure and the late John D. Leisure.
In addition to his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother Johnnie Leisure and a nephew Andy Leisure.
On March 16, 1968, Jimmy was united in marriage to Patricia "Pat" Devine and they shared forty six years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Pat Leisure of Arnold; mother Zencie Leisure of Poplar Bluff; daughter Gena Lynn Early and companion Charlie Henderson of High Ridge, adopted daughter Susie Seeker of Mellville, Missouri; brother Bud Leisure of Poplar Bluff; sister Karen Bourbon and husband Frank of Potosi; two step brothers Mike McDaniel and wife Doris of Williamsville, Missouri, David McDaniel of St. Louis; two step sisters Bobbie Lane and husband Gary of Arkansas, Kay Wheeler and husband Kurt of St. Louis; two grandchildren Benjamin James Butero, Sarah Jessica Butero; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating with special memories shared by family and friends.
All arrangements were respectfully cared for under the direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
