Jimmy Harold Bergner, Sr. of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on January 19, 2012 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of fifty five years, one month and four days. He was born on December 15, 1956 in Potosi, Missouri a son to Hattie (Litton) Bergner and the late Franklin Bergner.
Jimmy was raised in the Old Breton Creek Church.
In addition to his father Franklin Bergner
, Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife Jeane Bernger; daughter Patricia Bergner; uncle Edward "Bill" Bergner and grandmother Cora Litton.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his mother Hattie Bergner of Old Mines; son Jimmy Bergner, Jr. of Mineral Point; two daughters Amanda (Luke) Halbert of Steelville; Kim (Justin) Crocker of Desloge; sister Amy Bergner and Chris Mabe of Potosi; two brothers Gordon (Janice) Litton of Old Mines; Dennis (Donna) Bergner of Old Mines; seven grandchildren Tyler, Hailey, Bree-Anna, Draton, Autumn, Trenton, Olivia; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Memorial service was held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 6 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Brother Johnny Fowler officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
Jimmy was raised in the Old Breton Creek Church.
