Jesse Raymond Gibson of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on May 20, 1955 a son to the late Virgil Gibson and the late Maude May (Ramsey) Gibson. On August 14, 1976 Jesse was united in marriage to Marsha Maness and they shared forty-one years together.
Jesse passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Gibson; son, Clayton Lee Gibson; brother, Herbert Eugene (Nancy) Gibson; sister, Mary (Robert) Boyer; three grandchildren: Kylie, Matthew and Parker Gibson; also surviving are brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Jesse was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Raymond Gibson; one sister, Ruby Faye Gibson; three brothers: Clifton, Ronald and Charles Gibson.
Jesse enjoyed life. A few of his favorite hobbies were taking care of his cattle, riding horses and rebuilding tractors with his son Clayton. He loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them, especially his grandchildren. Jesse will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Monday, January 22, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service was held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Claude Evans officiating.
