Jesse Essmyer

Jesse Monroe Essmyer of Potosi, Missouri passed away on July 21, 2005, at the age of 38 years, 6 months and 18 days. He was born on January 3, 1967 at Potosi, Missouri a son of Carl Essmyer and Norma Sloan Essmyer.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents Chester and Ellen Sloan, Jesse and Helen Essmyer and his mother in-law Myrtle Adams. He was united in marriage to Robin Adams on November 17, 2001 in Eureka Springs Arkansas. Jesse was a member of the Potosi Southern Baptist Church and the Iron Workers Local # 396.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his loving and devoted wife Robin Essmyer of Potosi, his parents Carl and Norma Essmyer of Mineral Point, one son Adam Essmyer of Bonne Terre, three step children Ciara , Ian and Adam Coleman of Potosi, three brothers John Essmyer of Hasbrook, NJ, Martin Essmyer and wife Lisa of Mineral Point, Tim Essmyer and wife Sandy of Mineral Point, his father and mother in-law Dean and Janet Adams Sr. of Potosi, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Sunday, July 24, 2005 at the Potosi Southern Baptist Church, with Rev. John Edwards and Rev. Ervin Harris officiating. Serving as pallbearers were John Essmyer, Martin Essmyer, Tim Essmyer, Ady Skiles, Dean Adams Jr., J.C. Essmyer Ted Adams and Adam Coleman.
Interment was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery with all arrangements entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
