Jesse Eckhoff

Jesse Bernard Eckhoff of Potosi, Missouri departed this life December 15, 2008 at St. Anthonys Medical Center having reached the age of eighty one years, seven months and sixteen days. He was born on April 29, 1927 a son of the late Walter Eckhoff and Viola Bone Eckhoff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Leslie Dawn Eckhoff; a son Michael Eckhoff; brother Mickey Eckhoff; three sisters Dorothy Portell; Charlotte Cavins and Shirley Direcks.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are six daughters Donna Karsch and husband John of Potosi; Lisa Norviel and husband Don of Potosi; Linda Blackeley of Midland, Texas; Peggy Stafford of Arlington, Texas; Darla Sansoucie and husband Richard of St. Louis; Laura Tomasetti of Festus; two sons Randy Eckhoff and wife Linda of Potosi; Danny Eckhoff and wife Brenda of Cadet; mother of his children Beatrice Eckhoff; brother Harold Eckhoff and his wife ?Dumpy? of Potosi; twenty one grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were J.M. Karsch, Craig Karsch, Jesse Eckhoff, Lance Seiberlich, Kyle Conway, Mike Eckhoff, Jr. and Battle Tomasetti.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
