Jerry Kirby

Jerry Dale Kirby of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 25, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of seventy two years, ten months and fourteen days. He was born on October 11, 1936 at Potosi, Missouri, a son to the late Frank Kirby and Grace (Jarvis) Kirby.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Juanita (Conway) Kirby.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are six daughters Robbin Thompson of Crystal City, Cynthia Ysaquirre of St. Louis, Lisa Edwards and husband Ricky of St. Louis, Denise Rose and husband Mark of Mineral Point, Pamela Carty and husband Kenneth of Bland, MO, Andrea Kirby and Bill Carty of Owensville, MO; three sisters Mary Waller of Potosi, Gladys Lancaster of Tennessee, Verna Belfield and husband Al of Mineral Point; brother Jimmy Kirby of Cadet; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, August 28, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Lynn Thebeau officiating. Serving as pallbearers were John Curtis Ysaquirre, James Rose, Rickey Edwards, Joshua Kirby, Mark Rose and Terry Heathmen.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
