Jerry Kemper

Jerry Miles Kemper of Jefferson City, Missouri departed this life on November 26, 2010 having reached the age of forty five years, seven months and twenty four days. He was born on April 2, 1965 at Wharton County, Texas a son to the late David Kemper and Julia (Sanford) Kemper.

On August 17, 2002, Jerry was united in marriage to Iva Skaggs and they shared eight years together.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers David Kemper and Hershey Kemper.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Iva Kemper of Springtown; mother in law Sarah M. Skaggs of Springtown; two step children Lindia Skaggs and Edward Montano of Cape Girardeau; Sarah Skaggs of Springtown; step grandchildren Katye Beach, Ryan Beach, Toby Casner, Iva Casner; great grandchild Raigan Stone; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Ardel Gray officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Skaggs, Sr., Ryan Beach, William Skaggs, Christopher Gray, David Skaggs, Kevin Stone, Jr and Guy Casner.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
