Jerry Griffith

Jerry Dean Griffith, II, of Potosi, Missouri departed this life at the National Health Care Center of Desloge, MO on July 19, 2006, having reached the age of 45 years, 3 months and 18 days. He was born on April 1, 1961, at St. Louis, Missouri, a son of Jerry Griffith of Kurtistown, Hawaii and Nancy Collins of Sullivan.

Jerry was united in marriage to Cindy Henson on October 8, 1988 at Annapolis, Missouri. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Potosi and loved his church family very much.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife, Cindy Griffith of Potosi; two daughters, Lisa Griffith and Sarah Griffith of Potosi; his father, Jerry Griffith and wife Josie of Kurtistown, Hawaii; his mother, Nancy Collins and her husband Roy of Sullivan; a brother, Gregory Griffith, Texarkana, TX; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mark McCullough, Mel Reese, Jim Griffith, Toni Hilliard, Tim Evans and Jason LaValle.

Interment and final prayers were held at Reedville Cemetery, Sullivan, under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
