Jeffrey Herbert Richards of Cadet, Missouri, was born on October 16, 1965, in St Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Elmer Richards and the late Loretta (Ward) Richards. Jeff passed away on December 21, 2022, having reached the age of 57.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his siblings: Linda Ridenour, Billy (Krissy) Richards, Gene Richards, Joyce (Joe) Sampson, and Annette (Willie) Harris. Jeff is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Charles Ridenour, and many other dear relatives.

Jeff enjoyed going fishing, and tending to his animals, especially his chickens. He loved his family very much. Jeff was talented at beading—he would create beautiful Native American jewelry. After Jeff’s accident, he became a huge fan of wrestling and would watch it for hours.

A visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 pm, officiated by Brother David Reed. Interment and final prayers will be held in Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi, Missouri.
