The light of our lives has gone out. Jeffrey Kyle Darling of French Village, Missouri departed this life on October 28, 2008 at Scott City, Missouri, having reached the age of eighteen years, five months and nine days. He was born on May 19, 1990 at St. Louis, Missouri, a son to Kimberly Ann Lawson.
Kyle graduated North County High School in May, 2008. He worked as an Assistant Manager at Super 8 in Bonne Terre and was a very dedicated employee. He was a fine young man, known by many people. He had planned for a career in Law Enforcement.
Kyle was preceded in death by his great grandparents James and Alice Snowdell and Raymond Robinson.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his parents Kimberly and Toney Macklin of French Village; sister Kayci Renee Johnson of French Village; step-sister Sarah Macklin of Perryville; step-brothers John Macklin and Anthony Macklin of Redbud, IL; Grandparents Lloyd and Connie Lawson of Potosi; Roy and Betty Macklin of French Village; Great grandmother Gurlean Robinson; Great grandfather Earl Lawson; Uncle Steve Lawson and Aunt Lisa Lawson; special cousins Sarah and Douglas Hinrichs, little Tyler Lloyd, Dakota, Douglas Jr. and Christina; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral Services were conducted Saturday November 1, 2008 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Steve Lawson, Bruce Robinson, Steve Holbert, Rickey Macklin, Dave Heberly and Nathan Lawson.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
